Prof. P. Metrangolo received the award for the best oral presentation at the fourth "International Symposium on Fluorous Technologies ISoFT 2011"

Prof. Pierangelo Metrangolo received the award for the best oral presentation at the fourth "International Symposium on Fluorous Technologies ISoFT'11, http://www.cityu.edu.hk/bch/isoft11)", which was held at the University City of Hong Kong, from the 30th November to 3rd December 2011.

  The presentation, titled Protein surfactants at the water/fluorous interface (co-authors: M. Baldrighi, G. Cavallo, M. Linder, A. Milani, E. Monogioudi and G. Resnati), is the result of the collaboration among the Politecnico di Milano, the Center of Nano Science and Technology, the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (ITT) and the Technical Research Centre of Finland (VTT). Recently, IIT and VTT filed a joint patent application titled “Fluorinated protein and its uses”.
